With apologies for the bad photography on the thumbnails, now and later; I draw them very lightly in comparison to the ink I use to lay out the page. Taking a drafting class has made me think more about what leads I use and line weight and so on– so when I’m not sure what I’m doing, I’ve gotten in the habit of starting out with a 4H or so and then going over that with 2H or H and then inking over that. It sounds complicated, but it makes it so much easier to keep track of what I’m doing.
